Gachagua Mourns Mau Mau Hero General Kiambati, Warns Kenya Against ‘New Colonialism’

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has paid tribute to the late General Kiambati wa Njora, hailing him as a courageous Mau Mau freedom fighter from Nyandarua County who helped liberate Kenya from British colonial rule. He honored Kiambati alongside iconi resistance leaders such as Dedan Kimathi and Mukami Kimathi, recalling their sacrifices in the face of brutal warfare. Gachagua condemned the betrayal by homeguards during events like the Lari Massacre and urged Kenyans never to forget the cost of freedom.
