On his recent tour to Kenya the Haiti prime minister signed up a major deal with the Kenyan president William Ruto to deploy police officers to Haiti.
In an interview with the standard, a senior officer whose identity remains undisclosed revealed that officers who will have a chance to be deployed will be paid in accordance with the united nations deployment Rates based on different duties and mission they have been sent to accomplish in different parts of the world.
This comes at time where there are a lot of controversies among opposition leaders who feels that the decision and agreement signed by his excellence William Ruto is not right.
Some political leaders led by Ekuru Aukot the former presidential candidate feels that President William Ruto is being used by international communities.
They feel that GSU officers with paramilitary training and other officers from Rapid response are good enough to deal with cattle rustling and other insecurity problems being experienced in different parts of the country especially in the North Rift region.
They feel that Kenyan trained officer should be dealing with bandit who are terrorizing Kenyan in North Rift rather than dealing with armed Haiti gangs who are led by former police officer.
