Milimani Court Grants Prosecution Five-Day Detention

In a development at the Milimani Law Court, the Prosecution secures a five-day detention for activist Nuru Maloba Okanga. Okanga’s detention will be at the Muthaiga police station, facilitating the completion of investigations by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

Okanga faces allegations of publishing false information, a violation of Section 23 of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act No.5 of 2018. Additionally, he is under investigation for cyber harassment, as per Section 27 of the same Act, among other offenses.
