Yesu Ninyadue Hit Maker Cries Out For Help
A well known Gospel singer William Gatumbe was finally arrested following charges on indecent content. As a result he is crying out to members of the public to help.
The Yesu Ninyadue hit maker was nabbed by police officers from Kapsoya with help from Kenya Film Classification Board just few days after the lapse of Seven day demand notice that had been issued to him.
Based on reports from the KFCB the gospel hit maker failed to comply with the film play act, cap 222 as contained in the laws of Kenya.
The officials from the KFCB made his arrest official and confirmed that he was apprehended by officials from North Rift offices in Eldoret.
His arrest comes after failing to comply with section 4 and 12 cap 222 of the constitution of Kenya which governs the creation, exhibition, distribution and possession of audio visuals in the Kenyan industries.
Gatumbes creation Yesu Ninyadue has been classified as blasphemy under the constitution together with other music.
As one of the agencies of the government with a responsibility of regulating film and broadcasting content in Kenya, KFCB is urging all content creators to produce contents that will promote and preserve Kenya’s culture, values and traditions.
They further urged Kenyans to desist from distributing inappropriate audio visuals especially those flagged by the board.
