During his first state visit to Kazakhstan, Kenya expressed its appreciation for Kazakhstan’s remarkable transformation and economic development achievements. The visit highlighted Kazakhstan’s journey since gaining independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, and its transformation into a modern, powerful, and influential nation in Central Asia, thanks to visionary leadership and strategic economic planning. Kenya noted that Kazakhstan’s development experience will play a crucial role in its own industrialization and economic growth strategies. To strengthen diplomatic and economic ties, Kenya announced plans to establish a High Commission in Astana. Kenya also thanked President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for his warm hospitality and expressed its hope for a joint state visit with Kazakhstan in the near future.
